The North Woods' Premier Craft Gin

As crisp and clean as an icy stream from an Idaho peak, Forest artisanal gin combines the elegance and refinement of the Old World's favorite spirit with a splash of Idaho attitude. Artfully distilled with a blend of native botanicals, Forest Gin makes a beguiling base for any gin cocktail.

COCKTAIL RECIPES

With a taste as fresh and clean as the whole outdoors, it’s no wonder Forest gin pairs so well with so many light and natural floral, herbal, nut and citrus flavors. Enjoy it in these elegant cocktails — and just breathe in that mountain air!

  • 2 ounces Forest Gin
    ½ ounces dry vermouth
    2-3 sage leaves

  • Slap the sage leaves between your palms and drop into a shaker. Add gin, vermouth, and ice. Shake & strain. Garnish with an orange twist (rub twist on glass rim) and a sage leaf.

Sage & Citrus Martini

  • 1 1/2 ounces Forest Gin
    1/2 ounce Lilet
    1/2 ounces honey syrup
    1 barspoon rosewater

  • Rim glass with sugar. Add ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake & Strain.

Wild Rose

  • 2 ounces Red Fern Forest Gin
    Small handful mint (slap)
    3-4 peppercorns
    Tonic water

  • Combine all ingredients (except for the tonic) in a shaker. Shake & pour dirty (without straining) into a glass. Add more ice if necessary. Fill with tonic.

Mountain Top Tonic

  • 2 ounces Red Fern Forest Gin
    1 ounce fresh lemon juice
    1/2 ounce maple syrup
1/2 ounce blackberry liqueur/ Crème de Mûre (optional)
    2 fresh blackberries

  • Muddle two blackberries in a cocktail shaker. Add the gin, lemon juice, and maple syrup. Fill with ice and shake well. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Drizzle the blackberry liqueur over the top so it "bleeds" into the drink. Garnish with a fresh blackberry.

Fireside Bramble

  • 2 ounces Red Fern Forest Gin
    1 barspoon Absinthe
    4 mint leaves
    1/2 ounce lemon juice
    1/2 ounce lime juice
    Egg white

  • Put all ingredients in a shaker. Shake and strain into a coup glass. Float a mint leaf on the foam.
